Office of Assessment Issues “No Walk-Ins” Constituency Services Effective Immediately

Discontinues “Walk-In” Constituency Services Until Further Notice

Nashville, TN (March 16, 2020) – Nashville & Davidson County Assessor of Property Vivian Wilhoite today issues a temporary end to walk-in constituency services until further notice.  Assessor Wilhoite encourages constituents that have questions or comments about their property and property values to call, email or mail the Assessor’s office.

Wilhoite states, “The Coronavirus pandemic has caused us to rethink our normal every-day operations.” Wilhoite goes on to say, “While we are not yet closed, until then, we want to do all that we can to protect the community and our staff by following suggested procedures from our medical professionals during these challenging times.”

Property owners or anyone with questions or comments regarding their property or property values are encouraged to contact the Metro Office of Assessments in any of the following ways rather than walk-in:

Anyone needing to drop off required reports, deliveries or other documents will be allowed to leave these items at the front door entrance of the Office of Assessments where a special table has been established to receive these items. Additionally, hearings and appeal proceedings that have been previously scheduled to be held in this office will proceed as scheduled until further notice.
