The Metro Public Health Department will reopen the COVID vaccine clinic at Music City Centers starting Saturday, February 20. The reopening follows being closed Tuesday, Feb. 16 – Friday, Feb 19 due to the winter storms that hit Nashville. To reduce overcrowding, we will only provide first and second doses over the weekend that are scheduled to receive their shot this weekend.

The Davidson County vaccine clinic will be open seven days a week offering the vaccine at our regular hours – 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Please plan to arrive no later than 3:30 p.m.

In order to avoid long lines and wait times, we recommend those that were due to have your second shot to return on the day of the week you were originally supposed to receive your second dose.

For example, if you were to return on Tuesday of this week, then please come next Tuesday for your second dose.

The Health Department will be contacting those that were to receive their first shot Feb. 16-19 to reschedule their appointment. Those that had an appointment for the first shot Feb  16-19 should NOT come until they have scheduled a new appointment.

The Health Department has properly stored the vaccine that was to be used Feb. 16-19 and the vaccine is safe.

We expect to receive an additional shipment of vaccine early next week.
